DESCRIPTION
Antibiotic-based injectable formulation of Gentamicin sulphate.

COMPOSICION MEMBERSHIP

ACTION 
Antibiotic.

INDICATIONS
Infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Septicemias. Sepsis. Infectious diarrhea. Metritis. Pneumonias. Infectious bronchitis. Urinary tract infections. Infected wounds.

CONTRA AND WARNINGS
Do not associate with other aminoglycoside antibiotics. Do not mix in the same bottle or syringe with penicillin, carbenicillin, cephalosporins, amphotericin B or heparin. In prolonged treatments is advisable to check renal function.

COLLATERAL EFFECT
Administered in high doses or for prolonged antibiotic that may cause nephrotoxicity and affect the eighth cranial pair.

DOSAGE
The route of administration is intravenous, intramuscular eventually.
The dosage is 6.6 mg / kg every 24 hours, in one application. In foals less than a week of life or premature babies, reducing the dose in half.
In case of metritis, dilute 2 to 3 g in 250 ml of warm saline and administered via intrauterine, 1 time per day for 3 to 5 days.

In the absence of contrary utilizate the intramuscular or intravenous.
